As a budget traveler, I loved the welcoming and friendly atmosphere at this hostel. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was very central, making it easy to explore the city. The hostel had a balcony that was appreciated by both smokers and non-smokers. The staff, especially Ibrahim the receptionist, were extremely helpful and provided recommendations for places to see in Egypt.

Felt like part of the family, no complaints at all.

From the modern and comfortable rooms to the cute and friendly staff, everything was perfect. The common areas provided a cool and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. Despite being in the heart of downtown, my room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The location was ideal, with the Egyptian Museum just across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast offered was delicious, especially the Egyptian falafel called Taameya. The hostel even had a dartboard for some added fun. I cannot recommend Madina enough - it reminded me of staying at a close friend's apartment. I would highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Cairo.

The location of this hostel was absolutely fantastic! It was right next to the famous museum and also had some great spots nearby to enjoy a cup of tea. Plus, it was within walking distance to the Nile River, which made for some beautiful evening strolls.

One aspect that could be improved is the internet. It could be a bit better as it was a bit slow at times.
